Privacy Policy

This policy describes the Nightfall marketing website (www.nightfallgame.online) operated for pre-launch communications.

What we collect: • Email addresses you submit on the Download waitlist (marketing opt-in at submit time) • Email, optional notes, product id, and intent (trial/buy) on Developers product forms • Optional website analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) only if you accept analytics in the cookie banner • Transient technical data used for abuse prevention (IP-based rate limiting via our edge/Redis provider; not stored as a marketing profile)

Lawful basis (EU/UK): consent for waitlist marketing emails; legitimate interest for security/rate limiting and answering product inquiries you initiate.

Retention: waitlist and product-lead emails are kept until we have sent the relevant launch/license communications, or until you request deletion — whichever comes first. Deletion requests to privacy@nightfallgame.online are handled within 30 days.

We do not sell personal data. Lead data is stored in Supabase (EU/US region as configured on our project). Access is via server-side service credentials only.

Game accounts from the live MMORPG database are not collected here. Platform accounts (e-mail, Argon2id password hash, sessions, audit events) are stored in Supabase when you register on this site. In-game character data is not collected until a private gateway exists.
